Celtic Colours International Festival
Celtic Colours is a unique Cape Breton Island-wide celebration of Celtic culture - the largest of its kind in North America. The Festival takes place each October.

Bell Bay Golf Club is situated in the scenic village of Baddeck, Cape Breton Island. This beautiful Thomas McBroom course sits high above the Bras d'Or Lake, North America's beautiful inland sea. The course offers incredible views from virtually every hole. Four distinct teeing areas on each hole have been provided to ensure challenging and enjoyable golf for players of all skill levels. Amoeba Sailing Tours
Amoeba Sailing Tours is a small family business operating from Baddeck. Passengers of the Amoeba have the unique opportunity to sail the Bras d'Or Lakes near Baddeck from the deck of a 67 ft Schooner. You can observe majestic Bald Eagles as they circle the boat and see Alexander Graham Bell's mansion Beinn Bhreagh and the beautiful Baddeck shoreline. Amoeba Sailing Tours let you relax and enjoy an entertaining, and educational narrative of the area on the deck of a boat unique on all of the Bras d'Or Lakes.

Donelda's Puffin Boat Tours
The Cabot Trail's only Bird Island boat tour going to the nesting grounds of the Atlantic Puffin. See bald eagles, grey seals and a variety of seabirds.


Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site Located in the Village of Baddeck, the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site is a beautiful 25 acre park overlooking the Bras d'Or Lakes, a saltwater inland sea. This complex, with its three exhibit halls, contains the largest collection of Bell's artifacts and inventions, including replicas of the first telephones and a full scale model of the HD-4 hydrofoil craft.

Highland Village
The Highland Village is a 43-acre living history museum and cultural centre that celebrates the Gaelic experience in Nova Scotia. The Village is located approximately 45 minutes from Baddeck.
